The Hon. Stockwell Day Joins the Board of the Canada-India Business Council

(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 09/15/11 -- The Canada-India Business Council (C-IBC) is pleased to announce that the Honourable Stockwell Day, P.C. has joined its board.
C-IBC is committed to promoting business and investment between Canada and India by supporting public and private sector efforts to deepen the relationship between corporate and institutional Canada and their Indian counterparts.

Mr. Day's political and public service career has spanned over twenty-five years. He has served as an MLA, MP and as a senior cabinet minister at both the provincial and federal levels. Most recently, he served as President of the Treasury Board (2010) and as Minister of International Trade and Minister responsible for the Asia-Pacific Gateway (2008). Currently, he is a Senior Strategic Advisor at McMillan LLP.
