Amseco Obtains High Values in Gold, Silver, Copper and Zinc in James Bay

(firmenpresse) - MONTREAL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwire) -- 09/16/11 -- Amseco Exploration Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: AEL). The management of Amseco is pleased to announce assay results of its rock sampling that have been conducted on the properties of James Bay. On Yasinski, high gold values obtained ranged up (less than 30.72 g / t Au), silver (less than 260 g / t Ag), copper (less than 6.14% Cu), zinc (less than 3.12% Zn) and lead (less than 8.86% Pb). On Chika, high gold values up (less than 11.7 g / t Au), were obtained.
The following tables show the best metal values.
(R = channel sample, G = Grab sample)
Yasinski property is located 70 km south of the town of Radisson. The exposed rocks are of Archean age and consist of basalt, quartzite and polygenic conglomerates. A total of 81 rock samples were collected within an area measuring 2000 m by 300 m of mineralized zones that had previously been identified between the years 1959 and 2008. The mineralization occurs in sulphidevein lets and disseminations in altered zones and quartz veins injecting mainly quartzites. Mineralization consists of pyrite, pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite, sphalerite and argentiferous galena.
CHIKA property is located near the hydroelectric plant LG-3. Rocks observed are also Archean. The mineralized zone consists of a shear zone hosting milky quartz veins with tourmaline, which cuts a gabbro unit. Mineralization, previously reported with the quartz veins, consists of pyrite and pyrrhotite primarily. The sampling area is 60 m by 5 m. A total of 42 rock samples were collected from the mineralized zone that was identified previously between 1996 and 1998. Amseco has also acquired additional claims covering unexplained geophysical anomalies that were identified in previous work.
The sampling program was carried out by a team led by Roger Moar, geologist and qualified person as defined by NI 43-101, and on the "CIM Exploration Best Practices Guidelines". The Laboratoire Expert of Rouyn-Noranda performed sample analysis. The analysis for gold by fire assay was performed and the concentration of gold was determined by atomic absorption. The minimum detection limit is 5 ppb. Samples with values greater than 1000 ppb are reanalyzed by gravimetric analysis and the results were reported in "g / t Au." All samples with values greater than 3.00 g / t have been reanalyzed at least once. The analysis of other metals was carried out by digestion with nitric acid and hydrochloric acid and concentration of elements was determined by atomic absorption.
Jean-Pierre Cloutier, P. Geo, a director of Amseco Exploration Ltd., reviewed this press release and is a Qualified Person as defined by NI 43-101.
The management of Amseco is enthusiasm for these results. Already, a second phase of work is anticipated with optimism. The geological context of each of these properties, the high gold values obtained, the current price of gold and other metals increases the potential to explore each of these properties.
