Golden Rim announces Chairman transition
(PresseBox) - West African gold explorer Golden Rim Resources Ltd (ASX:GMR, Golden Rim or Company - https://www.commodity-tv.com/ondemand/companies/profil/golden-rim-resources-ltd/) advises that the Chairman, Mr Adonis Pouroulis, has advised the Company of his intention to resign as Chairman of the Company in the near term to focus on other interests.
The Company has commenced a process to appoint a suitable replacement for Mr Pouroulis, following which the Company expects his resignation will take effect, if not sooner.
Mr Pouroulis joined the Company Board in January 2020. Chief Executive Officer, Tim Strong, thanked Mr Pouroulis for his contributions to the Company and said:
"On behalf of all stakeholders, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Adonis for his contribution and leadership over the past 3 years. He has been an important part of Golden Rim’s entry into Guinea and his guidance on the Board will be missed. We wish him well for the future."
Mr Pouroulis said:
"We have an excellent team of people here at Golden Rim, with a strong culture and a quality asset at Kada. My other work commitments are such that I am unable to continue as Golden Rim’s Chairman. I remain a supportive shareholder and look forward to the Company’s success."
