AgTerra Receives Government Contract
(firmenpresse) - SHERIDAN, WY -- (Marketwire) -- 09/20/11 -- AgTerra Technologies, Inc. announces that it has partnered with the United States Government General Services Administration (GSA) with a contract allowing federal agencies to easily purchase AgTerra's SprayLogger products. Under the GSA Schedules Program, GSA establishes long-term government wide contracts that allow government customers to acquire products and services directly from commercial suppliers like AgTerra. The GSA Schedules Program is the government's premiere acquisition agency, allowing federal agencies to benefit from "most-favored customer" pricing. AgTerra's contract has been awarded under GSA Schedule 66, titled "SCIENTIFIC EQUIPMENT AND SERVICES," special item numbers 66 501 and 66 612.
SprayLogger ™ () is an automated GPS-based pesticide application tracking and mapping system. The system automatically captures important information at the time of spraying including GPS location, the amount sprayed, and other information tracked by licensed pesticide applicators. Digital reports and maps are automatically generated by the system in multiple formats compatible with programs such as Google Earth, ArcGIS, and Microsoft Excel.
SprayLogger greatly reduces the time, effort, cost and expertise that would otherwise be needed to document and map pesticide applications. This system is an ideal option in the war against noxious and invasive weeds and pests; helping applicators meet regulatory requirements and document applications.
