(Thomson Reuters ONE) - Stonesoft Corporation stock exchange release October 9, 2009ADVANCE INFORMATION ON OPERATING PROFIT OF THIRD QUARTERBased on preliminary data, the operating profit (EBIT) of StonesoftCorporation was clearly positive during the third quarter, orapproximately EUR 0.5 (-0.5) million.According to the preliminary data also the net sales of the companyincreased slightly compared to the corresponding period in theprevious year. This development of the net sales was roughly inaccordance with the expectations of the company, and the improvementof the operating profit, which was better than expected, was to alarge extent due to gross margin on sales which was better thanexpected as well as costs that were lower than expected.In its interim report published on August 14, 2009, Stonesoft hasstated that, on the grounds given in the report, it does not regardit justified to give any estimate on the future development of theresult in 2009, although it strives for an improved operating result(EBIT) compared to the previous year.
