Newforma Appoints Joseph Santiago Vice President of Finance
Appointment Reflects the Increasingly International, Multi-Product Direction of AEC Project Information Management (PIM) Software Company

Santiago was chosen for a demonstrated ability to manage the financial operations of high-growth technology companies, including operations in international markets.
Newforma Chief Executive Officer said Santiago's appointment reflects the increasingly international, multi-product nature of the company. "As we continue to expand our product family to broaden the capabilities of our Newforma PIM solution, add new customers, and appoint more resellers to drive international sales, the increased complexity and growing volume of business requires someone with Joe's proven track record and expertise," Howell said. "Together with CFO , Joe will be responsible for overseeing our financial management and scaling our fiscal processes to support our rapid growth."
Santiago has filled a variety of critical, hands-on management roles for growing, high-tech companies, whether venture capital-backed or large multi-nationals. His contributions have ranged from raising capital and restructuring debt to establishing infrastructure and administering operations in global business units.
Prior to joining Newforma, Santiago was the corporate controller of Cedar Point Communications, a global venture capital-backed company that was acquired by GENBAND in early 2011. Before Cedar Point Communications, Santiago was the international corporate controller for Telcordia Technologies, managing a diverse finance team spread throughout the world. Telcordia had acquired his previous employer, Granite Systems, a venture capital-backed software company, where Santiago was the corporate controller and a contributor to that company's rapid growth. Early in his career, Santiago worked at Ernst & Young, auditing clients across a broad range of industries, including several high-tech companies.
Santiago holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Bentley University. He is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Institute of Management Accountants.
