New: Factory calibration for BlowerDoor measuring fans on customer appointment

(PresseBox) - New at BlowerDoor since April 2023 is the calibration (1-point) according to manufacturer's specification for the BlowerDoor Standard  measuring fan (model 4). One measured value is calibrated per measuring orifice. The requirement of ISO 9972 for the accuracy of the measuring systems of ± 7 % is assessed. A previous basic maintenance and functional test are included. The calibration is offered at an introductory price and is carried out on request. In order to ensure short calibration times, registration is requested.

Optionally, BlowerDoor GmbH continues to offer manufacturer's calibration (3-point) for all measuring fans as well as calibration with DAkkS certificate on its own test stand, which has been calibrated by the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB). On this test stand, the conformity of the BlowerDoor measuring fans (Model 4, Model 3 and DuctBlaster) can be confirmed up to ± 4% (orifices A - C and rings 1 - 4) or ± 5% (orifices D + E). The previous basic maintenance and functional test are also included. Calibrations on the accredited test bench are performed once a month, binding registration is required.
