First Vacuum Competence Center to be built in Korneuburg
Busch Austria GmbH is expanding the Korneuburg site and, in doing so, establishing the first Vacuum Competence Center in Austria.
(PresseBox) - In the future, this new building is where Busch and Pfeiffer Vacuum Austria GmbH will jointly design, manufacture and supply vacuum solutions for Austrian customers.
At the ground-breaking ceremony on May 12, 2023, Busch Austria will lay the foundation stone for the joint Vacuum Competence Center with Pfeiffer Vacuum Austria in Korneuburg.
Busch Austria has been operating in Korneuburg for 35 years. Formerly located in the North Industrial Park, the company has been offering vacuum and overpressure solutions for the Austrian market at the newly constructed company location in Business Park 1 since 2019. Busch Vacuum Solutions products are used for a wide range of applications in almost all industry sectors. Pfeiffer Vacuum Austria specializes in products for high-vacuum applications, such as turbomolecular pumps, vacuum measurement and gas analyzers. The companies want to work together more closely in the future.
Additional construction space next to the existing premises was acquired for the building expansion, which will be realized by local construction company Betriebsbau Schuster. This expansion will allow 60 jobs from both companies to be merged, and for additional jobs to be created.
