New Sage Energy Reports Results of Annual Meeting
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 09/21/11 -- New Sage Energy Corp. (TSX VENTURE: NSG) ("New Sage" or the "Corporation") is pleased to announce that at its annual general meeting (the "Meeting") held on September 20, 2011, the shareholders approved all resolutions placed before them by management, including the election of directors, the appointment of auditor, and the reaffirmation of the Company's stock option plan.
The Shareholders elected John Carlesso, Marc T. Bamber, Douglas M. Stuve, Douglas Bartole and David A. Terry to serve as directors of the Company. As of the close of the Meeting, the Company's board is constituted of a majority of independent directors.
The shareholders appointed McGovern, Hurley, Cunningham, LLP as the Company's auditors and authorized the Directors to fix the remuneration.
The shareholders reaffirmed the Company's stock option plan, which provides for the issuance of options to acquire up to 10% of the Company's issued and outstanding Common Shares.
