Busch Donates 35,000 Euro to phænovum
Busch Vacuum Solutions donated a total of 35,000 Euro to the student research center phænovum in Lörrach, Germany, last year. The leading vacuum pump manufacturer is a gold sponsor of the institution near its global headquarters.
(PresseBox) - Busch has been donating to phænovum since 2012. In addition, the company sponsors the student research center’s RoboRAVE with 5,000 Euro each year. Busch also acted as one of the two main sponsors for phænovum’s student observatory in Gersbach.
“We support phænovum because this is where all children can enjoy learning and reach their potential,” explains Ayla Busch, Co-CEO and Co-Owner of Busch Vacuum Solutions, who volunteers on the phænovum board.
“We are very grateful for the reliable contribution in the form of donations and the partnership-based cooperation,” adds phænovum’s Managing Director Kirsten Lohrmann.
The student research center phænovum in Lörrach was founded in 2007 and is designed to enable students from secondary schools to conduct independent research in courses and seminars. The aim is to awaken children’s and young people’s enthusiasm for science and technology. Every year, students in phænovum’s courses develop numerous projects for youth research competitions.
