8-way unmanaged PoE switch for industrial use
(PresseBox) - The 10-port Unmanaged Gigabit PoE Switch IGPS-C1082GP, the new ORing C-Series from ICP Germany, offers a robust and reliable solution for industrial networks in the areas of monitoring systems, factory automation and Industry 4.0.
The C-Series is a cost-optimized alternative to the otherwise standard switches of the same name. Features such as a high housing IP protection or redundant voltage input, which generate little or no added value in many applications, were partially omitted from the C series switches for cost reasons.
The IGPS-C1082GP has eight 10/100/1000Base-T(X) P.S.E ports. It meets IEEE 802.3at PoE requirements and provides a total power of 240 watts with a maximum of 30 watts per port. This makes the switch suitable for numerous PoE-enabled devices such as cameras, access points or VoIP phones. The IGPS-C1082GP also offers two ports with 100/1000Base-X SFP sockets. Auto-negotiation and auto-MDI/MID-X function, store-and-forward transmission and flow control are still inherent to the IGPS-C1082GP. Also, despite being a C series, it still has a redundant power input, as well as a relay output for a power-failed warning system that notifies users of any power failures. With its rugged IP-40 housing, DIN rail mounting capability and operating temperature range of -40°C to 75°C, the IGPS-C1082GP allows flexible installation in demanding environments. ICP Germany also supplies the IGPS-C1082GP pre-assembled with SFP modules on request.
