2G reports continued strong growth

- 2011 revenue forecast upgraded to EUR 155 million
- New subsidiary founded in United Kingdom

Heek, September 27, 2011 - 2G Energy AG (until July 21, 2011: 2G
Bio-Energietechnik AG), one of Germany's leading manufacturers of combined
heat and power (CHP) plants, continues its dynamic growth path of recent
years.The company has identified scope to upgrade its revenue forecasts for
the 2011 financial year.The company now anticipates total consolidated
revenue of EUR 155 million due to the high demand that it is experiencing
this year.

As part of its intensive internationalization strategy, the Group has
founded a new subsidiary in United Kingdom in order to gain further market
shares in the very interesting British and Irish CHP markets.


Production capacity fully utilized with 700 CHP plants for 2011

As planned, 2G continues on its dynamic growth path in the second half of
the year, which is a typically stronger period within the sector.Having
already raised its revenue expectations for 2011 to EUR 135 million, the
Management Board has now identified scope to implement a renewed upgrade to
its forecast given planned annual production of around 700 plants.The
company now expects around EUR 155 million of consolidated revenue, and
earnings improving at a slightly faster rate than revenue.Production
capacities will be fully utilized until the end of the year on the basis of
700 plants produced.


Subsidiary founded in a further important foreign market

2G Energy Ltd.has been newly founded, and is based at Frodsham near
Manchester, UK.From this location, 2G will target the further expansion of




its existing business in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland.The
new subsidiary, which will be led by a manager with sector experience, will
be responsible for sales and service in these regions.2G has recently
commissioned eight plants in the United Kingdom.Along with selling new
plants, the new company will also be responsible for servicing existing
systems.With these and other ongoing measures, the company is responding to
strong foreign demand as part of its internationalization strategy.
