While prominent personalities gather for the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Davos Klosters offers a haven of tranquility on the slopes and trails. From January 15 to 19, 2024, the region becomes a hidden gem, as only a few winter sports enthusiasts are on the go during these days. This means there is ample space to fully enjoy carving turns. Long waiting times at mountain restaurants and lifts are a thing of the past, and recent snowfalls ensure optimal snow conditions.

Davos attracts skiers and snowboarders from around the world as a winter sports metropolis. The six ski areas of Parsenn/Gotschna, Jakobshorn, Pischa, Madrisa, Rinerhorn, and Schatzalp/Strela stretch between 1124 and 2844 meters, offering an impressive winter sports arena. With 58 transport facilities, 300 kilometers of ski slopes, 100 kilometers of cross-country trails, over 150 kilometers of snowshoe and winter hiking trails, as well as two artificial ice rinks with various ice activities, guests have a diverse range at their disposal. Additionally, eight toboggan runs add extra fun.

The Parsenn ski area with the Weissfluhjoch is a highlight, especially for slope enthusiasts, connecting Davos with the neighboring Klosters. On the other hand, Jakobshorn is a true paradise for freestylers with halfpipes and cozy après-ski huts.

For those looking for a more relaxed experience, a horse-drawn sleigh ride through the snow-covered side valleys is an excellent option. With 150 kilometers of groomed winter hiking trails and snowshoe trails, the mountain world around Davos invites exploration.
