Vögtlin instruments expands the digital mass flow meters and regulators for gases
The red-y compact mass flow meter (MFM) from Vögtlin is characterised by portability, flexibility and innovative design, is now available with an analog&pulse output module.
(PresseBox) - The Vögtlin red-y compact is an industry standard for testing and verifying gas flows from very small up to 450 ln/min in industries like Pharma, Bio, Analytical, and many more. Quality departments use the red-y compact because of its reliability, portability (Light and battery-powered), simplicity, and flexibility. Its embedded Thermal MEMS sensor is accurate, and insensitive to changes in pressure and temperature, transport vibrations, and more.
The MEMS technology guarantees long-term stability with an extremely stable zero, and makes the unit affordable.
By default, the unit is powered by a 1.5 AA battery but we just added a new expansion. In addition to the optional 24V supply module or the alarm module, Vögtlin now also offers an analog and pulse output module for this digital mass flow meter. The analog and pulse output module generates a 4-20 mA and a pulse output signal, proportional to the measured gas flow rate. Both can be configured by the customer via the compact, integrated touch screen.
The module is supplied with a 2 or 5-meter cable and is to be supplied with 24 VDC (15...30 VDC).
Like all other extension modules, the analog module can be retrofitted to all red-y compacts at any time - i.e. from battery to external power supply, to alarm or analog module.
