Astro Pak Hires Charlie St. Clair to Bolster Cleanroom and On-Site Precision Cleaning Services on East Coast
(firmenpresse) - CHESAPEAKE, VA -- (Marketwire) -- 09/29/11 -- Astro Pak, the leading provider of contract and passivation services in North America, is pleased to announce the appointment of Charlie St. Clair as the East Coast Sales Manager for its Class 1000 cleanroom and on-site chemical cleaning services at Aerospace test and launch facilities.
Mr. St. Clair brings 20 years experience offering Precision Cleaning services. "My career servicing critical precision cleaning parts and systems started with Astro Pak in the 1980s and I am thrilled to be back with the company. I have a passion for servicing and delighting customers and I cannot think of a better place to live that out than here at Astro Pak. The support and resources are terrific, such as our new cleanroom and our fleet of Mobile cleanrooms that allow us to meet customer needs on-site," noted Charlie St. Clair.
Astro Pak remodeled its Virginia cleanroom to enable support of components and sub-assembly cleaning. For over 52 years, Astro Pak has earned the reputation of being the premier contract precision cleaning facility on the West Coast. The California cleanroom has earned over 60 Aerospace cleaning specification approvals and is certified to ISO 2001:2008 and SAE AS 9100B:2004. "Astro Pak will be utilizing the expertise from our CA facility to oversee the Virginia facility's quality and management team. I am excited about our future on the East Coast, as well as the seasoned experience that Charlie will bring to our team," said Jerry Knepper, VP Cleanroom Sales.
The components processed at the newly remodeled Virginia cleanroom will range from simple Oxygen Service to the aerospace specifications IEST Level 100A. This new Class 1000 (ISO 14644-1 Class 6) cleanroom will be an asset for our East Coast customers in turnaround time and shipping cost.
