Fakuma 2011: Sycor's Unusual Trade Show Appearance
The proximity of the event venue of Fakuma 2011 to the airport of Friedrichshafen has allowed Sycor to pick up a proven trade show motto and improve upon it: Your Nonstop Flight to Corporate Success.
(firmenpresse) - "We have chosen our trade show motto to stand out from among the other exhibitors and to attract attention," says Sven Frenzel, marketing director of SYCOR GmbH, of the idea behind the unusual trade show appearance. Visitors will see the central theme - Your Nonstop Flight to Corporate Success - on a large billboard right outside the exhibit hall B5. The booth shared with SAP Deutschland AG & Co. KG, number 5305 in Hall B5, has been designed to look like an airport lounge complete with check-in counters. The booth staff will welcome visitors dressed as pilots and flight attendants. "Our staff actually first wore these true-to-the-original uniforms for a photo shoot some time ago. We used those photos in advertisements, in the booth's design, and also on the mini website for the trade show," explains Sven Frenzel. In making the motto come to life consistently, Frenzel and his coworkers put great emphasis on details: they have actually added a discarded onboard beverage cart to the booth design.
Drawing eyeballs at a trade show is step one.
