Hakon Invest ranked second best in annual CDP survey
(Thomson Reuters ONE) - In the CDP's annual survey of how stock market-listed companiesmanage the climate issue, Hakon Invest was ranked second among Nordiccompanies. A total of 128 companies in the Nordic region participatedin the survey.The Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) has ranked listed companiesglobally based on accounting practices for carbon dioxide emissions.The Nordic survey, which has been carried out for the thirdconsecutive year, is based on a number of questions concerningclimate change. In all, 128 companies responded to the questionnaire,and of these, Hakon Invest - through ICA's environmental work -received a second place ranking in the Nordic region. This representsan improvement compared with 2008 when Hakon Invest received a sharedsixth-place ranking.
