Biogas Nord continues its way to success

Biogas Nord AG (BGN) publishes its half-year results 2011 (accounting date:
30th of June). The group is able to present a further increase in turnover
to actually EUR 20.03M. In comparison to a turnover of EUR 13.42M for the
same period in 2010, this means an increase of 49,25%.
Alexander Rechter, CEO of Biogas Nord is satisfied with this result: 'For
the third consecutive year the Biogas Nord Group has shown its ability to
achieve two digit growth rates. We continue in expanding our operational
activities while maintaining a relatively low increase in expenditures.'
The turnover by finished projects during the first six months period
achieved EUR17.39M. Compared to EUR 14.34M during the same period in 2010,
this means an increase of 21.29%.
With these results, BGN not only achieved its ambitious goals for the year
2011 so far - it gives the company force and momentum to expand its global
operations and the construction of self-owned biogas plants.
Alexander Rechter: 'We expect this positive trend to continue in the coming
months. Experience shows, that the second half of a year regularly shows
even better results, so that the Group will finish 2011 with gratifying
operational results. The management thanks all the Group's employees for
their efforts and their contribution to reaching these goals.
