Horgen, October 3, 2011 - After 23 years of successful, commendable work at 3A
Composites, Georg Reif will be stepping down from operational management
activities. As of January 1, 2012, he will be taking over the post of Chief
Technology Officer (CTO) at 3A Composites. In this function, he will focus on
strategic innovation, the development of new areas of business for composite
materials and opportunities for acquisitions. Georg Reif will remain a member of
the Group Management of Schweiter Technologies.
The new CEO of the 3A core materials business will be Roman Thomassin, who has
many years of management experience in a variety of functions, most recently as
Chief Service Officer of LM Windpower. Roman Thomassin will be taking up his
position from June 1, 2012.
