WEYTEC in Washington received a distinguished visitor from Switzerland on 22.04.25. Swiss Vice President Guy Parmelin learned about the challenges faced by the Swiss technology company in the US market– especially in relation to US tariff policy
(PresseBox) - Federal Councilor Guy Parmelin traveled to Washington last week accompanied by an official delegation and the Embassy of Switzerland in the United States. The high-ranking delegation visited the technology firm WEY Technology Inc., a subsidiary of the Canton of Zurich-based WEY Group. By making this trip in person, the Head of the Federal Department of Economic Affairs offered a strong show of support for Swiss technology companies in the US. These companies are currently operating in a challenging market environment.
