CCH Canadian Awarded Multi-Year Contract by Canada Revenue Agency
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 10/04/11 -- CCH Canadian Limited (CCH) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a contract by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) for provision of its comprehensive tax library collection. The contract, which starts in 2011 and runs through 2016, is comprised of a series of annual agreements that will see CCH's tax library made available in both English and French to all CRA staff.
"This contract represents a continuation of the mutually beneficial, long-standing relationship between CCH and CRA," said Doug Finley, President of CCH Canadian, noting that CCH has been providing products and services to the CRA for more than a decade.
Under the terms of the contract, CRA staff across the country will have open and unlimited access to the robust CCH tax library collection. "Whether it's field audits, tax appeals or for policy development purposes, our goal is to effectively support CRA staff in their work, wherever they work and whatever they do for the agency" Finley said.
The CCH tax library collection is comprised of more than 20 premium products and includes commentary and analysis on interpretations and rulings by subject matter experts. The suite of products also includes CCH's proprietary Smart Charts tool which allows the user to create customizable, quick reference tables on specific subjects of interest. All of the information in the suite of products can be cross-referenced and searched, saved and outputted through an online interface, which is designed to support and enhance user productivity.
In addition to its work with the CRA, CCH products and services are also used by several other government agencies and departments.
