TECHudson Appoints Fundraising Director
(firmenpresse) - HUDSON, OH -- (Marketwire) -- 10/04/11 -- (TECHudson), a new , recently appointed Michael DeAloia, the former "Tech Czar" for the city of Cleveland, as its new Fundraising Development Director.
In this role, DeAloia will help give TECHudson and access to key funding services, including angel investor introductions, corporate and foundation grant opportunities, investor tax credits and low interest loan opportunities. He will also support as it develops an investment fund.
"A part of any successful business plan is a strategic funding component," said TECHudson Executive Director Jim Phipps. "Michael has vast knowledge of the financial community in Northeast Ohio, and can provide sound funding direction to help new businesses grow."
During his tenure as the Tech Czar, DeAloia was able to recruit 37 tech companies into the city of Cleveland, which brought or created nearly 1,000 jobs. He is a co-founder and partner in EmergingChefs.com, a Cleveland-based firm that specializes in creating distinctive events around emerging chefs, culinary trends and destination dining experiences.
He was the co-founder and CFO of BlueBridge Networks, a Cleveland-based provider of data center services. DeAloia also co-founded and is an investor in LimeRibbon.com, which is a social media shopping network platform. He has also worked for LNE Group; FIT Technologies; Saltz, Shamis & Goldfarb; Ernst & Young; National City Venture Capital and National City Bank.
