(PresseBox) - The Digital Product Passport (DPP) will become mandatory for the first product groups, such as batteries, electronics, and textiles, starting in 2027. For manufacturers, suppliers, and importers, this means new requirements for transparency, data availability, and product labeling. The digital product passport is intended to provide information such as material composition, origin, carbon footprint, and recyclability throughout a product's entire life cycle.
