Lantech’s future proof design of PoE feeding

(PresseBox) - With its new technology of power feeding to end devices, Power over Ethernet is now saving battery and at the same time extending powering cameras – even if the bus is switched off.

With the Fast PoE feature it is possible to start the bus, having immediately power for the cameras and AP – without waiting for the boot cycle of the switch. Also, if there is a warm restart necessary, with our Perpetual PoE feature you do not lose any feeding power for cameras and AP – no additional restart of end devices is necessary.

These features will be much more important in future as additional cyber security modules will slow down the booting process of switches significantly.
