In 2025, global electricity generation from nuclear power is expected to reach a new record high. Electricity production in India, China, France, and South Korea has contributed significantly to this. Japan's nuclear power production has also recovered, with the Fukushima disaster now a thing of the past. Incidentally, most nuclear power plants are located in Europe, namely 39 percent.  Asia is particularly eager to build new nuclear reactors. And once the nuclear reactors currently under construction and those that have already been approved are operational, Asia will become the world's most important nuclear power plant location, accounting for around 246,000 MW of the global nuclear energy capacity of 590,000 MW.

The US also has a not inconsiderable capacity of nuclear power plants in the development phase. Uranium has been added to the list of critical minerals for 2025 in the US. Demand for uranium will continue to rise due to the global expansion of nuclear energy and the desire for energy independence. Nuclear energy has been virtually rediscovered because it offers a reliable base load supply and a low carbon footprint.

According to the World Nuclear Association and BofA Global Research, the number of nuclear reactors worldwide could more than double due to those currently under construction and planned. Companies that mine, process, or trade uranium should benefit from this development, such as Uranium Energy or IsoEnergy.

IsoEnergy - https://www.commodity-tv.com/ondemand/companies/profil/isoenergy-ltd/ - is considered a uranium producer that could go into production in the near future and has high-grade uranium properties in Saskatchewan. Other uranium projects are located in Australia, Argentina, and the US. The Larocque East project in the Athabasca Basin in Saskatchewan is particularly high-grade.

Uranium Energy - https://www.commodity-tv.com/ondemand/companies/profil/uranium-energy-corp/ - has diversified uranium holdings and ISR uranium projects in the US, with additional projects in Canada. Uranium mining, processing, refining, and conversion are part of the business.
