Ivanhoe Australia's Non-Executive Director Douglas Kirwin to Resign
(firmenpresse) - MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA -- (Marketwire) -- 10/05/11 -- Robert Friedland, Chairman, and Peter Reeve, Chief Executive Officer of Ivanhoe Australia Limited (TSX: IVA)(ASX: IVA), announced today that Douglas Kirwin, a non-executive director of Ivanhoe Australia, has resigned.
Mr. Kirwin, who was appointed a director of Ivanhoe Australia in 2006, has made a significant contribution to the success of the Company's exploration program. As Executive Vice President, Exploration, of Ivanhoe Mines, Doug has been instrumental in mentoring Ivanhoe Australia's geologists and influencing the strategic direction and development of exploration at Ivanhoe Australia.
