(PresseBox) - The PLT5 488 is a 488 nm single-mode laser diode for manufacturers and system integrators especially in medical technology and research. It is ideal for fluorescence systems where spectral accuracy, long-term stability, and controlled series availability are crucial.

Typical applications: Fluorescence analysis and microscopy, flow cytometry, optical measurement systems, laboratory equipment

The PLT5 488 cyan laser diode is available in different power classes and wavelength tolerances:

PLT5 488 in 60 mW for e.g. standard fluorescence systems and series devices 

488 ±5 nm 

488 ±2 nm 

488 ±1 nm, exclusively available 

Additional wavelength ranges on request 

PLT5 488HB_EP in 300 mW for e.g. high-performance systems and demanding fluorescence applications: 

488 ±5 nm 

488 ±2 nm 

488 ±1 nm, on request

Service & Support: 

We also supply laser diodes classified by the manufacturer into wavelength groups (bins) as single bins. 

This enables: 

Defined wavelength windows per system revision 

Better system-to-system reproducibility 

Simplified qualification and series approval
