Referees wear the logo of the online shop diedruckerei.de at all games

(firmenpresse) - Neustadt an der Aisch, Germany – A new premium partnership between the Beko German national basketball league (Beko BBL) and Onlineprinters GmbH is being launched. Referees will wear the logo of the online print shop diedruckerei.de on the front and back of their strips during all of the approximately 330 Beko BBL games scheduled for the 2011/2012 season. The comprehensive partnership was presented on October 1, 2011, in Bamberg at the traditional tip-off meeting to mark the start of the 46th Beko BBL season. Walter Meyer, CEO of Onlineprinters GmbH, spoke with pride of the new promotional cooperation and printing partnership with the league. "We are thrilled to enter such an unusual partnership with the sports world", he enthused. "We'll be right in the thick of the game with our advertising slogan "Pfeif auf blasse Farben" (say no to weak colour) and the diedruckerei.de logo on the referee strips. This is a whole new level of presence for the online shop in front of the spectators of top class sporting events", Meyer added. The brand diedruckerei.de is already well known thanks to classic perimeter advertising in the German national football league. The young e-commerce company Onlineprinters GmbH is one of the fastest growing online print shops in Europe. Along with the German brand diedruckerei.de and the international brand Onlineprinters, the company has become one of the European market leaders in online printing within only a few years. "Speed and precision play an essential role in basketball. The same is true of our new partner, Onlineprinters GmbH, so in this respect, the brand diedruckerei.de is perfectly suited to the league", says Jan Pommer, CEO of Beko BBL, speaking of the partnership.

Advertising on referee strips stands for fair play also at diedruckerei.de
"Referees represent fair play in sports. They ensure that no unfair means are employed in sporting competitions. We are advertising the quality of our printed products on referee strips. Fair play stands for certification and product quality in our online shop. It stands for sincerity, honesty and cost transparency in customer relations and for a company ethic in which every customer is taken seriously, even when making complaints", says Walter Meyer, drawing parallels between fair play in e-commerce and sports. "Customer proximity is of particular importance for online shops. We see our customers as being like referees. They can publicly rate our price transparency, service and products via the independent rating portal Trusted Shops, for instance, or via social media interaction", says Walter Meyer on fair customer relations in the online shop of diedruckerei.de.

Long-term premium partnership
As well as being represented at every premier league game on the strips of the three referees, the online shop www.diedruckerei.de is also Beko BBL's official print partner producing magazines, stationery and posters for the league. "Printing partnerships for flyers, posters, autograph cards, tickets, stadium magazines and merchandise catalogues have already proven their value many times in the German national football league.“We are more than able to fulfil the clubs’ requirements with our high-quality printed matter", confirms Walter Meyer. The premium partnership with the Beko BBL will run for four years. Basketball is a very popular sport in Germany. Around 1.4 million spectators came to 337 games during the 2010/2011 season. At least 50 Beko BBL games per season are broadcast live on SPORT1 from the arenas of the 18 premier league teams.
