New ecommerce marketing strategies successful:holding subsidiary Designfurn
Ltd posted record development.
The Infurn subsidiary Designfurn Ltd. provides cause for celebration having
recorded unique progress during the past few months. The reason: the
successful implementation of new ecommerce marketing strategies. In
September alone the company sold around 2,500 products per week - number of
visitors to the online shop(www.infurn.com) has increased by a total of
128%; an average of 7,000 visitors per day.
Infurn.com - now the leading website in its particular industry sector
infurn.com has improved its Alexa ranking by 100,000 places
(www.alexa.com). Globally the website achieved the 128,000 position amongst
all websites. In Germany it is even occupying the number 16,000 slot. This
means that infurn.com is globally the largest website in its sector.
Increased turnover with showroom opening
A new Infurn showroom opened on the 25th of September 2011 in Mallorca.
Not only is Mallorca a destination for holiday makers, but is also
tremendously popular for primary and secondary home ownership.
The showroom covers 500 m2. 270 various pieces of furniture by popular
designers are on display. The exclusive location on this frequently visited
island, will contribute a great deal to increased awareness of Infurn
furniture. Visitors have the opportunity to physically experience pieces of
furniture, touch them and make certain of the quality, before ordering them
on the Internet at a later date.
Infurn expects an increase in online turnover of 13% after opening the
showroom.
Expansion target US market - new management team in place
The planned expansion into the American market is now the focus of the
company's attention more than ever before. The first significant steps
towards this objective have now been taken: Infurn has recruited a new
management team whose skills could have been to measure for meeting this
challenge. Infurn expects an increase in number of products sold from
currently 3,000 / month to 10,000 /month in the short term.
