Order backlog reduced by DKK 0.5bn as mentioned in half year report
(Thomson Reuters ONE) - Company Announcement to the Danish Financial Supervisory AuthorityNo. 19-2009, 26 October 2009On 14 February 2008 FLSmidth announced that it had received acontract worth AUD 170m (approximately DKK 785m) with Aurox ResourcesLimited (Aurox) to supply a complete minerals processing plant andrelated port facilities for the treatment of magnetite iron ore -company announcement no. 7-2008.The project execution commenced as planned, but due to the impact ofthe global financial crisis on Aurox' project funding, the projectwas put on hold earlier this year, and the parties have now agreed toterminate the remaining contract.As a consequence of the termination, the order backlog of FLSmidthhas been reduced by DKK 550m, which is the amount that was flagged asin increased risk of being cancelled in the half year report releasedon 17 August 2009.
