CRC is pleased to announce that the first unit of CRC BioProcessor is well on-track and is scheduled for test run this October 2011. This will be the first unit to be manufactured by its supplier, Performance Biofuels Inc. of Canada.
The design is tailor-fit with the project concept of establishing community-based biodiesel production where the coconut plantation, coconut oil mill and coconut farming communities are situated.
The equipment is self-contained, continuous flow, using practical system to adapt to the farming communities situation. It is easy and safe to operate and it is containerized to make it mobile and transportable. The output is 2.5 million liters per year.
The CRC BioProcessor will be using coconut crude oil as its main feedstock since coconut is abundant in the Philippines. Besides, CRC is starting to implement its Coconut Feedstock Plantation Project through land lease agreements to ascertain a sustainable supply of feedstock for more CRC BioProcessors to be deployed in the Philippines and other Asian countries in the near future.
