First Eagle Investment Management Announces 5.65% Interest in Hathor Exploration Limited
(firmenpresse) - NEW YORK, NEW YORK -- (Marketwire) -- 10/19/11 -- First Eagle Investment Management, LLC announced today that accounts and funds managed by it currently hold 7,150,000 (approximately 5.65% of the outstanding) common shares of Hathor Exploration Limited (TSX: HAT), 6,850,000 shares of which were acquired since August 30, 2011, the date on which Cameco Corporation commenced its bid for all of the issued and outstanding common shares of Hathor Exploration Limited. Of the 7,150,000 total, 1,900,000 shares were purchased on October 19, 2011, bringing the percentage to 5.65%.
All of the common shares of Hathor Exploration Limited currently held by the First Eagle Investment Management, LLC accounts and funds were acquired through the Toronto Stock Exchange.
The shares referred to above were acquired and held in the ordinary course of business and were not acquired and are not held for the purpose of or with the effect of changing or influencing the control of the issuer of such securities and were not acquired and are not held in connection with or as a participant in any transaction having that purpose or effect. Further purchases or sales in the common shares of the company may be made in the future as circumstances warrant.
