NASM Launches "NASM Futures" Program Aimed at Career Technical Schools in Arizona
(firmenpresse) - CHANDLER, AZ -- (Marketwire) -- 10/20/11 -- The National Academy of Sports Medicine® (NASM ®), the global leader in , and , has announced the development of the program.
Approved by the Arizona Career Technical Education (CTE) grant program, the NASM Futures program now offers high schools the ability to introduce health and fitness careers to their students as early as their sophomore year, with NASM's Introduction to Personal Fitness Training course.
Students then have the ability to study the course material for the Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) and Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) during their junior and senior years.
The NASM program is designed to engage students early in health and fitness, expose them to the career option of personal fitness training, and open up doors of opportunity for other career paths, such as:

Public Health Practitioner
Recreational Therapist
Exercise Science
Clinical Exercise Physiologist
Applied Exercise Physiologist

Applied Healthcare
