Celebrity Brand Perfumes Compete With Designers for Top Spot

Both Britney Spears and Beyonce have several fragrances to their names, and two version of the Britney Spears Fantasy scents received glowing 5-star reviews, described as 'brilliant' and having a 'great price'.

This isn't to say that some of the high-end designer fragrances have been overlooked. Rather, names such as Giorgio Armani and Chanel are now having to compete with celebrity fragrances which do not attempt to beat the designers on quality smell or ingredient, but do provide much lower prices.

Nevertheless, Armani Code, Giorgio Armani He and Emporio Armani Diamonds all registered warm feedback from customers this week, demonstrating that the discerning tastes of the fragrance consumer.

Indeed, the choice between designer and celebrity products is not necessarily mutually exclusive; market research suggests that many perfume wearers own several scents from different ends of the market.
