Application Encourages Women to Feel Fabulous and Be Proactive About Their Breast Health
(firmenpresse) - CHICAGO, IL -- (Marketwire) -- 10/25/11 -- In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Orbit gum has teamed up with Bright Pink, a non-profit breast cancer prevention organization, to help raise awareness and encourage young women to be proactive about their breast health through the launch of a .
Within the fans of Orbit gum and Bright Pink can make a pledge to protect their chest through a checklist of simple ways they can change behavior and make small steps toward being more proactive about their own breast health. Supporters are then encouraged to spread the word with loved ones.
In addition to the "" application, throughout September and October 2011, 10 percent of Orbit Bubblemint™ and Orbit White® Bubblemint gum sales, up to a maximum of $75,000, will be donated to Bright Pink, and specially marked packs of Orbit White Bubblemint include pellets that have been stamped with a pink breast cancer awareness ribbon.
