El Paso Pipeline Partners to Release Third Quarter Earnings November 2, 2011

(NYSE: EPB) will release third quarter 2011 financial and operational results for the company on the morning of Wednesday, November 2, 2011. El Paso Pipeline Partners will not host an investor call and webcast due to the recently announced proposed merger of El Paso Corporation (NYSE: EP) and Kinder Morgan, Inc. (NYSE: KMI). El Paso Pipeline Partners, L.P. is a Delaware limited partnership formed by El Paso Corporation to own and operate natural gas transportation pipelines and storage assets. El Paso Corporation owns a 42 percent limited partner interest, and the 2 percent general partner interest in the partnership. On October 16, 2011, El Paso Corporation announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement whereby Kinder Morgan, Inc. will acquire all of the outstanding shares of El Paso Corporation. Our general partner, El Paso Pipeline GP Company, L.L.C. (the "General Partner"), is an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of El Paso Corporation. El Paso Pipeline Partners, L.P. owns Wyoming Interstate Company, L.L.C. (WIC), Southern LNG Company, L.L.C. (SLNG), Elba Express Company, L.L.C. (Elba Express), Southern Natural Gas Company, L.L.C. (SNG), and an 86 percent interest in Colorado Interstate Gas Company, L.L.C. (CIG). WIC and CIG are interstate pipeline systems serving the Rocky Mountain region, SLNG owns the Elba Island LNG storage and regasification terminal near Savannah, Georgia, and both Elba Express and SNG are interstate pipeline systems serving the southeastern region of the United States.
