These lockable poly-shelters are available in two sizes to accommodate various oil skimmers and option configurations. A 30- or 55-gallon drum can be used for oil collection depending on the size of the enclosure chosen.
These secure poly-shelters are reinforced for durable protection in outside applications and are an option with the following Groundwater Remediation Systems: Light Fuel Oil, Medium Viscosity Oil, Heavy Oil, DNAPL, Solar Powered, Explosion Proof, or any of Abanaki's standard Oil Skimmers.
Each oil skimmer uses an endless belt in 1", 2", or 4" widths that will fit in 2", 4", and 6" or larger diameter well casings. These systems can also be adapted using other skimmers in Abanaki's range for applications in ponds, trenches, and wastewater pits. Abanaki oil skimmers and systems require very little maintenance, are easy to install, and have low energy costs.
