Somaliland Ministry Offering Acreage
(firmenpresse) - HARGEISA, SOMALILAND -- (Marketwire) -- 11/02/11 -- In light of the increasing interest in the hydrocarbon potential of Somaliland, The Ministry of Mining, Energy and Water Resources in Somaliland is pleased to announce the offering of open acreage. The Ministry will initiate an Open Door Policy to engage interested oil & gas companies. TGS and the Somaliland Ministry continue to work closely together in the promotion of exploration acreage in Somaliland. Companies that are interested in pursuing opportunities in Somaliland should approach the Ministry first for open acreage, and then they will be directed to TGS for access to technical data to assist in the evaluation of open acreage. TGS Data rooms are available in Houston, U.S.A. and Surbiton, U.K.
Note: The Minister spoke at the ongoing 18th Africa Oil Week that is being held in Cape Town, 31 October thru 4 November. Those attending are welcome for a meet and greet with the Minister and/or TGS.
