Centaurus Capital LP Acquires Shares of Mosaid Technologies Incorporated
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 11/02/11 -- Centaurus Capital LP ("Centaurus") announces that, since October 31, 2011, through funds it manages, it has acquired control of 273,050 common shares of MOSAID Technologies Incorporated ("Mosaid") representing approximately 2.29% of the issued and outstanding common shares of Mosaid. The total number of common shares of Mosaid controlled by Centaurus, through funds it manages, together with all persons and companies acting jointly or in concert with Centaurus, is now 793,050, representing approximately 6.65% of the issued and outstanding common shares of Mosaid. Centaurus acquired all of its common shares of Mosaid since the announcement on August 18, 2011 by Mosaid that it had learned of Wi-LAN's intention to make an unsolicited take-over bid to acquire all of the outstanding shares of Mosaid. Centaurus has acquired all of its common shares of Mosaid since the formal commencement of the take-over bid on August 23, 2011.
Centaurus acquired the common shares in the open market through the facilities of the Toronto Stock Exchange. Centaurus acquired the common shares for investment purposes only. Centaurus may, depending on market and other conditions, acquire or sell further common shares from time to time for such investment purposes.
