Brompton Corp. Invests in Symphony Floating Rate Senior Loan Fund

(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 11/04/11 -- Brompton Corp. ("Brompton" or the "Company"), in its normal course of business, purchased 400,000 class A units of Symphony Floating Rate Senior Loan Fund (the "Fund") on the Fund's initial public offering for investment purposes. Pursuant to an agreement, 300,000 class A units are subject to a 6 month hold and 100,000 class A units are subject to a 12 month hold and may not be sold by the Company until such time has passed unless consent is obtained from the lead underwriter of the Fund's initial public offering, such consent not to be unreasonably withheld. The Fund is managed by the Company's wholly owned subsidiary Brompton Funds Limited.
