AgriTec Systems Announces Purchase and Expansion of Stuttgart, Arkansas Plant
(firmenpresse) - HOUSTON, TEXAS -- (Marketwire) -- 11/14/11 -- AgriTec Systems, Inc. (TSX VENTURE: AGR) ("AgriTec" or the "Corporation") is pleased to announce that we are in negotiations to purchase our partner's interest in AgriTecSorbents. Once completed AgriTec will modify and increase the capacity of the Stuttgart, Arkansas plant by more than 50%. The plant will produce liquid sodium silicate and activated carbon from rice hull ash under AgriTec, Inc.'s patented process.
AgriTec is a Houston, Texas based corporation engaged in the pursuit of "clean tech" business opportunities for the conversion of bio-mass (specifically rice hull ash) into value added commodities, and has been issued a number of world-wide patents in this regard. The Corporation's common shares are listed on the TSX Venture Exchange under the trading symbol "AGR".
