Slovenia's cable operator Telemach selects Transmode for metro and
backbone networks

The key new links that will be improvedby the Transmode installation include routes into the capital fromNovo mesto, Kocevje and Trbovlje, and between eastern cities MurskaSobota and Gornja Radgona.For the Telemach installation, which has been deployed during 2009,Transmode has implemented 12 optical add-drop multiplexed (OADM)nodes, consisting of two TM-3000 and 10 TM-301 systems. Overall, thesolution is based on single fibre CWDM and Gigabit Ethernet servicesare transported using 9x Gigabit Ethernet over 10G and 2x GigabitEthernet over 2.5G Muxponders.
