Each module is licensed separately for the ultimate in flexibility. A NIC equipped with five MSA modules is capable of testing five (5) 10G ports and ten (10) lower-speed Ethernet or Fibre Channel ports, all simultaneously, a feature available only with the Digital Lightwave NIC.
MSA-series modules take on the most difficult testing challenges in telecom, datacom and storage area network testing. Portable NIC units are ideal for central office and field testing. Identical capabilities are available in the NIC EP rackmount chassis for lab and manufacturing applications.
