Technopac International Inc. adds Premium-Grade Catering Foodservice Film Packaged in Cutter Boxes to Emerging Product Line
Toronto, Canada, November 28, 2011, Technopac International Inc., http://www.technopacinternational.ca/, (Frankfurt: DE:T71) an environmentally conscious packaging company registered in Germany, is pleased to announce that the Company has added consumer food service film packaged in cutter boxes to their currently expanding product line.
Technopac International has developed this packaging for their cutting edge food wrap in an effort to deliver its technology to the consumer market and food service industry. With the vast quantities of food film used by the industry, estimating in the range of over 1 billion dollars, Technopac International Inc. will be intensively focused on channelling all resources to meet this huge demand. The strategy will be to target select markets for the purpose of the establishing a leading market position in the environmentally friendly packaging sector.
Technopac’s unique non-PVC (Poly Vinyl Chloride) food stretch film will be now packaged with an effectively designed low-profile precision metal edge that open up a whole new sector for revenue. “Every household should benefit from the technological breakthrough in removing toxic elements from food packaging. We are launching our non-toxic and non-PVC catering food film ewrap™, and packaging distribution companies have already shown a positive reaction to consider changing from PVC film to ewrap™ cutter box film and our other related products.” stated Stefan Gudmundsson, President, Technopac International.
As a general standard, households typically store food for longer than food labels recommend. This puts consumers at risk from toxic elements that may leak from PVC film into food, if stored too long. With the non-toxic non-PVC ewrap™ film, consumers will be better protected from the associated risks. As a result wholesalers, supermarkets, and consumers will all mutually benefit from the removal of the potentially toxic elements included in traditional food wrap.
Catering companies, Hotels, Hospitals and Restaurants are considering the replacement of traditional PVC film with an environmentally friendly non-PVC alternative. This business is approx. 20% of the 1 billion dollar market for PVC cling films. Technopac seeks to replace the PVC products with their revolutionary ewrap™ packaged in their new conveniently designed cutter boxes.
Technopac recently announced that it has successfully acquired the required licensing for worldwide distribution of the its environmentally friendly Non-PVC food packaging film. The exclusive license Technopac has secured will enable the Company to distribute the Company’s revolutionary packaging film on a worldwide scale. Technopac’s unique non-PVC (Poly Vinyl Chloride) food packaging stretch film was developed by a manufacturing company in India (“India Manufacturing”), under the trade name ewrap™.
About Technopac: Technopac (http://www.technopacinternational.ca) aims to become the leading supplier of non-PVC stretch film for food packaging applications in North America, being distributed under the trademark ewrap®, and endeavors to establish a significant market share for food packaging machines starting with the bread packaging sector. The Company is committed to design and implement systems that will provide superior Packaging waste reduction solutions to the increasingly challenging environmental issues facing the world today.
