Nexen to Webcast Investor Day

(firmenpresse) - CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwire) -- 11/28/11 -- Nexen Inc. will hold its 2011 Investor Day on Thursday, December 1st, 2011. Marvin Romanow, President and CEO, and members of Nexen's management team will host an investor day webcast providing an update on our strategies and opportunities in our conventional assets and our unconventional assets (oil sands and shale gas) along with details of our 2012 budget following our budget press release at about 3:00 a.m Mountain Time on November 29th, 2011.

Time: 7:15 a.m. Mountain Time (9:15 a.m. Eastern Time)
