Bernd Worlitzer appointed new CFO of Catenic(firmenpresse) - Unterhaching, 29 November 2011 - Taking effect as of the beginning of the new business year of Catenic AG on 1 October, Bernd Worlitzer was appointed head of Sales, Marketing & Finance. He will take over responsibility for the financial department from company founder and board spokesman Hubert Bauer, who will focus increasingly on product development. The personnel decision will further strengthen the position of the company as the leading supplier of financial management standard software.
Starting immediately, Bernd Worlitzer will assume responsibility for the strategic business development and the financial management at Catenic. In addition to expanding the internal distribution structures, the focus of his activities will be the acquisition of solution and distribution partners. An expanded integration and licensing model at technology level will further improve the cooperation with complementary partner companies and sustainably strengthen the market position of Catenic.
The specialist for financial management business solutions will also address medium-sized companies in addition to corporate groups. To this end, company founder Hubert Bauer relinquished his position in the finance department on 30 September 2011 and will focus his attention on the strategic product development of the financial management software anafee?.
Improved ease-of-use, a modular architecture model as well as the development of a SaaS solution will make the Catenic software attractive for medium-sized companies and offer an affordable alternative to spreadsheet controlling, which is still widespread among users in this segment.
Bernd Worlitzer has comprehensive practical experience in auditing and more than twelve years of experience with SAP supported management and business processes. Between 1995 and 2004 (when he joined Catenic), he was the country manager of a leading software company, responsible for the consulting business around SAP and he established two European sales offices.
