PROCON MultiMedia AG (ISIN: DE0005122006, Prime Standard), an
internationally full-service provider of technical equipment for events,
film and TV productions, has posted revenue of EUR 75.7 million for the
first nine months of 2011 compared to EUR 96.8 million one year ago. Gross
profit declined from EUR 16.6 million to EUR 9.9 million.
EBITDA for the first nine months of 2011 came in at EUR 7.1 million versus
EUR 13.6 million for the nine months of 2010. Earnings before taxes result
to EUR -6.7 million. Earnings per share amounted to EUR -0.23, versus EUR
0.06 one year ago.
Procon is still operating in a difficult market environment containing high
pressure on margins and political developments, which have an impact on the
business.
Currently, it can not be assumed that this development will change within
the fourth quarter.
Projects served by Procon in the first nine months of 2011 included amongst
others: the opening ceremony of the Special Olympics World Summer Games in
Athens and numerous national and international exhibition stands, for
example at the International Motor Show in Geneva and the International
Auto Show IAA, Frankfurt.
