Public Mobile Offers the Most Affordable U.S. Roaming-Same Price As In Canada
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 12/01/11 -- If you've travelled to the U.S. with your cellphone before, chances are you came home and found a big, fat bill waiting for you. Those days are gone. Starting today, Public Mobile gives customers the freedom to travel in the U.S. and pay the same low rates they pay for roaming in Canada.
Public Mobile's U.S. roaming rates are the same as they are in Canada - just 15-cents a minute to send or receive a call. Incoming texts are free and outgoing texts are 15-cents. No other Canadian cell phone company offers lower roaming rates.
Public Mobile's U.S. roaming partner is Sprint. Public Mobile's roaming service extends across the Continental U.S. and includes Hawaii, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Only Alaska and Montana are not included.

All Public Mobile customers are assigned a wallet into which they can deposit money and personally control how much they spend on roaming each month. Roaming is available as part of all Public Mobile plans.
