A unique experience for app lovers, the giftiki iPhone App delivers instant birthday notifications, a birthday newsfeed of gifts sent and received, while allowing users to set a reminder to send gifts on a recipient's special day.
Giftiki is also launching a new function that allows users to invite their friends to gift a specific individual. After selecting an amount to gift, wrapping, and sending a giftiki, a pop up window will appear that shows the giver what friends they have in common with the individual they just gifted. Users can then choose friends and write a personal message that invites them to join and chip in. This message posts to Facebook enabling more people spread the love.

Givers choose a friend and decide on an amount to give -- anywhere from $1 to $10 -- lock in the amount and send the gift with a personal message and icon of their choosing. The idea is quite simple, a friend throws in a few bucks over here, other friends do the same, and soon enough the recipient has enough money to redeem with an American Express gift card, on Amazon.com or with a gift card for select retailers, including: Macy's, Starbucks, the Sports Authority and The Cheesecake Factory.
