Re: Notice of Extraordinary General Meeting (the "EGM")
The Board of Directors of the Company announces that notice is hereby given that
an EGM of Shareholders of the Fund will take place on 23 December 2011 at the
offices of MFD Secretaries Limited, 2(nd) Floor, Beaux Lane House, Mercer Street
Lower, Dublin 2.
The purpose of the EGM is to consider and pass as a special resolution the
amalgamation of the Fund with Merrill Lynch Investment Solutions - Marshall Wace
TOPS UCITS Fund (Market Neutral), a sub-fund of Merrill Lynch Investment
Solutions. The Shareholder Circular of the proposed amalgamation forms part of
this announcement.
As at 31 October 2011, Merrill Lynch Investment Solutions - Marshall Wace TOPS
UCITS Fund (Market Neutral), held holdings of securities in the following
